Although we recommend alternantives to stripping and waxing, CFCS™ does offer strip and wax floor services along with complete floor care maintenance packages. Our CFCS™ Complete Floor Maintenance Program includes:
Stripping and Waxing
- Program recommended 1-2 times per year depending upon traffic use on floors
- Strip down old wax to the floor, removing all stains and debris which includes detailing all edges, corners and baseboards.
- Light screening or scrubbing to remove any leftover finish or stains and to prepare the floors for wax
- Apply 5 coats of premium floor finish/ wax
- Buff floor with appropriate pads in order to harden and seal floor finish/wax
Scrub and Recoat of Existing Floor Finishes
- Program recommended 1-2 times per year depending upon traffic use on floors
- Scrub existing floor with pH neutral cleaner to remove a few layers of finish along with dirt and debris from the existing finish/ wax
- Apply 3 coats of premium floor finish
- Buff floor with white pad in order to harden and seal floor finish/ wax
- This program is only avilable on well maintained floors
Burnishing/Buffing Maintenance Program
- Program recommended monthly or quarterly depending upon traffic use on floors
- Using 2500 RPM burnishing machine with the appropriate pads, along with rejuvenator to remove all scuffs, scratches, and top embedded soils
- If this program is followed on a monthly basis, it can and will extened your strip and wax or scrub and recoat program another 3-6 months
- Follow-up
CFCS™ does a COMPLETE in service training on the proper daily care of your newly strip and wax or scrub and recoat floors.
